MUSIC PROJECT

In here I want to make a little review of artists. I have the bad habit of never listening to famous artists for literally no reason. And I'm here to change that with this page. And I need to change that cause it's like a big cultural gap and I lose discussion with people and also I'm curious; it's like basic knowledge I don't know. ALSO, the site is really ugly but bear with me it's my first try and i really want to start this project fast instead to make it prettier. PLUS my english is not good i speak english with moderation.

SOUR 18/07/2026

okkk so i asked one of my friend one artist to start of and she choosed OLIVIA RODRIGO. I'm listening first to SOUR because disney stuff i can't even though i like to do by order if it's worth i'll listen.

And it's like this that i discover all of her songs are super famous like it reminds me of my gacha phase

I don't know it's because i'm stressed out because i'm filling the site at the same time as listening or because my computer is slow but the music is pissing me off

Otherwise, i like her voice and her lyrics are great you don't see the songs pass by that's a good point. But i find the album too fast i like them doing around 1 hour long i don't have the time to get into it

Personally i won't listen to this album again maybe her others are more my vibe

fav track : hope ur ok ★★★☆☆"

I wanted to listen to rap because i'm a huge fan of ASAP and i've never listened to anyone else. I choose him because people always talk about him.

Starting with the first album, i saw he has mixtapes and i didn't know by what i should start but... For now i really like it more vibes and i want to lissten to Tupac too it's like the two i really wanted to react.

I'm shocked of how much i like it. Nice voice, nice instrumental, nice change of mood between differents songs. I really appreciate that all the songs sounds differents

Grace 11/08/26

To this party i felt in love with him and another singer put i don't remember the name my bad. Otherwise i finally manage on this day to fix all the problems on this page that was making me procrastinating.

why does all the talented kind people die first ?

fav track : ★★★★★

Ella Fitzgerald Sings Songs from "Let No Man Write My Epitaph" 13/08/26

I didn't really know how to start this one since she has a lot of singles and songs so I didn't know where to start. So i decided to put her on shuffle and go to the album of the song i shuffled. I ended up with "I Cried For You" from the Ella Fitzgerald Sings Songs from "Let No Man Write My Epitaph" album. But then it's not i discover that this is part of a movie and the movie is uploaded on youtube so i will review it too since i will watch it tonight. But then it's not the only comment on the video says that it is base on a book of Willard Motley which is available on the Internet Archives so i will read it too.

(I just realized there was multiple versions of this album but at this point i will never press play so i'm going to ignore it and hope the others versions aren't here)

NOW TIME TO MUSIC:
Black Coffee: It's the third song I have ever heard after Summertime and Cry me a river. For now I'm loving it, the lyrics are top shelf. I love old music expecially jazz, blues and soul I feel understand. And it's slow it's not rushing me which I crave for since everything goes so fast now. Like let me take my time, my breath let me live. 10/10
Angel Eyes: Her voice and the piano ? I feel like her voice just completed a missing part of my soul. I'm not being dramatic but the ending of the song just fixed me. 10/10
I Cried for You: The song i stumble to. Beautiful song i love her vibrato 8/10
I Can't Give You Anything but Love, Baby: I would have loved seeing her live i think i would have left to heaven. 8/10
Then You've Never Been Blue: A mosquito just entered my room trying to mimic her vibrato I'm going to crash out 8.5/10
I Hadn't Anyone Till You: I relate to this song even thought i dont' have that someone yet but in my mind i have him. 8/10
My Melancholy Baby: Beautiful song 8.5/10
Misty: This song really smell like love 9/10
September Song: 7/10
One for My Baby (and One More for the Road): 8.5/10
Who's Sorry Now?: 7/10
I'm Getting Sentimental Over You: 7/10
Reach for Tomorrow: 7/10

Overall I'll say it's a 7/10 it's missing a little something.

I´m Beginning To See The Light: Her voice is beautiful with this man voice. 10/10
Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall: It's the same two verse for everyone but this guy voice really made it together beautiful 9/10
You Were Only Fooling: I think i love when it starts talking in a middle of a song it's like you know it was so well made 7.5/10
Slap That Bass: This give me the same vibe as a song from TBHC from Arctic monkeys but from the old time. 7/10
It's A Sin To Tell A Lie: This guy voice makes me happy I'm getting emotionnal when i hear him 7.5/10
Your Feet's Too Big: I think i didn't like this one. I wasn't given the lore and i don't understand a thing the lyrics i couldn't find 6/10
A Lovely Way To Spend An Evening: The piano was very much appreciated 7/10
It's Only A Paper Moon: This song was flowing definitely my favorite one on the album 10/10

In the end i would say that i prefer this one over the previous album but it doesn't count since it is with another band. And we didn't heard her much or maybe i wasn't paying attention. But the album is a solid 8/10.
